To Mike FRY. I find a hard copy is much better for me as I find it hard to see the screen and I can not sit up for very long so the hard copy allows me to read the message in a much more comfortable position.

First off, change your signature line. Precede the current stuff with a line containing hyphen hyphen space. Most *good* email readers will recognise this as the beginning of a signature and when someone replies to a message of yours, truncate your signature and everything that follows it. Secondly, I've been trying for ages to get the old fuddy-duddys around here to try this and also to learn to trim messages. No good. They're all far too set in their ways.
