Bill,

I haven't seen this problem in Vista and I was just spending some time this
morning in Publishing Center.

The preview, printer and printer setup buttons should be grayed out when
you're editing a chapter. Previewing is done through Publishing Center
itself.

It's possible that the book file is corrupted. Try removing that chapter
and then adding it back. If that doesn't help, you may need to completely
delete the book and start over.

A lot of people have dumped Vista and gone back to XP! I hear the computer
stores are being kept busy doing this!

Thanks for using Legacy.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Error 76

When I go to Reports and then Publishing center and
add a Descendant Narrative book to the Chapter and
then to preview, everything seems fine. If I click on
"edit settings for current chapter," another window
appears and the the "preview, print and printer setup"
are greyed out. I select my options and close the
window and this error report appears;

Error opening Report user file
C:\LegacyV6\Books\CurrentBook.000.
Error 76: Path not found
Would you like to TRY IT AGAIN?

If I click on "no" I can procede, but none of the
selected option takes hold. If I click on "quit,"
Legacy closes. If I click on "yes" the error just
keeps popping up.

I have the latest build and using Vista. I checked the
archives and error 76 and found no solution to the
problem. I also have administration rights on this
computer.

What am I or Vista, or the program doing wrong?

By the way, if I could get Windows XP back I would be
a most happy camper.

Bill
