Here's a question. My sister and I are both running Legacy 6.0. We want to keep our databases in sync, and can exchange backup files, then merge them to accomplish that.

Is there an easy way to do the same with media files? Mine is about 40MB right now, and so can't be sent as an e-mail attachment. Is there a good way to transfer them via FTP? What about differences between the two media files. Is there a good way to merge such files?

I notice that Legacy only backs up the primary Pictures folder, and no sub-folders. I like to keep documents in a sub-folder, group photos in another sub-folder, and photos of places and things in yet another sub-folder, while all photos of individuals are in the Pictures folder. I know that I can create my own media backup using WinZip, and include those three sub-folders, but it would be very handy if Legacy could do that on its own.

I would be very interested to hear any suggestions/experiences along these lines.

Thanks,

John
