Frank,

The free standard version of Legacy doesn’t create PDF files; however, if
you purchase Legacy Family Tree 6.0 Deluxe you will have the ability to
create a PDF file of your family tree. PDF files are a common file format
that can be burned to a CD or sent as an e-mail attachment. They can be
opened on any computer with the Acrobat Reader. In addition, if you
purchase Legacy 6 Deluxe now we'll send you the upgrade to Legacy 7 for FREE
when it is released later this fall. Please visit
http://www.legacyfamilytreestore.com/ for details.

Optionally you can send your family members a CD the standard version of
Legacy along with your family file. Please visit the links under “Burning
CD's as a Way to Share Legacy Family Files” at
http://www.legacyfamilytree.com/Tips.asp for the steps.

Another option is to buy GENViewer Legacy Edition. I highly recommend this
program. You may use GENViewer on a free 15-day trial basis, after which you
must purchase the program to continue using it. Please visit
http://www.legacyfamilytreestore.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=GVL for
details.

When creating a report or chart in Legacy, simply click the Preview button
in the upper right corner of the report screen to see what the finished
product will look like. This is the best way to save paper.

If you need to contact Millennia Corporation for technical assistance or
questions about purchases, etc., you can get the mailing address, e-mail

Good luck,

Subject: [LegacyUG] Legacy question

I have just started using Legacy with the Standard version. I am trying to
develop a family tree with pictures and notes for my kids. I would like to
put the finished product on a CD for each of my kids. Can you do this and if
so, how? Do they have to have the Legacy software to view the product? Is
there a way to preview where you’re at? If you put out a printed version, is
there a way to view what this looks like? Thank you! The Legacy Web site
does not seem to provide an email address to technical support to ask
questions.
