Yes, it does! But if you had used Search and Replace on the Tools menu to replace all instances of "Liverpool, Lancs, England" with "Liverpool, Lancashire, England" and you already had a location of "Liverpool, Lancashire, England" you would then have TWO locations the same and would need to do the Combine operation!
