Heather-

Don't forget you can view some Millennia video about sourcing free at:

The first set is free, I believe. The rest are previews, such as learning about tagging, chronologies, events, searching, etc. Geoff is great at explaining this.

Well, personally I like the handling of step-kids (as I have some!) - It handles having the kids hooked to both parents - but where it is above everything else I've used is that you can set the parent relationship seperately for each parent! So I can keep their dad's relationship to them as biological, and to me as step. That is SO much clearer. (my last program, it was set for both parents.... so if you printed our family record, it looked like we were both "guardians".... I love the user interface. I also love that there are lots of ways to do stuff - and that you can custumize the display so much. I love the mass search of the IGI, and in the research guidance, although a lot of times I just go 'uhuh' with most of the suggestions - with someone in the family it mentioned a published history about the start of the town/city where they lived that I didn't know existed! I'm planning on borrowing a copy of that one, as my family was there near the beginning of that town! I do find the sourcing confusing (as I have on the program I used before) - but am looking forward to seeing the templates that are coming! This usergroup is good for solutions, generally fairly friendly to beginners most of the time - and customer support has seemed to be excellent too!
