There is a magnifier included with Windows (at least under XP):
Start, All Programs, Accessories, Accessibility, Magnifier
If it isn't there, you may have to install a "Windows component"

I've actually put a shortcut to this on my tool bar so I can get to it easily whenever I need it. You can change the size of the window, and change the magnification.

P.S. - I'm guessing CAD Drawing is "Computer Aided Drafting drawing" or "Computer Aided Design drawing", though I've seen CAD used an abbreviation for other things also. Otherwise known as "house plans drawn on the computer" to you and me (what carpenter's use when building a house) .

Dawn-

This may help. I suggested it to for two friends of mine, and both say
it works well for them. It is a magnifier, and I noticed when you use
it, sometimes graphics are a little out of focus, but you can certainly
read all the text quite well. It is a virtual magnifying glass, and
works on the screen. If you want to research this, go to:
http://magnifier.sourceforge.net/
From what I see, there isn't a cost to this, but I did not check
everything. If you can see the screen comfortably, you will enjoy Legacy
even more.

I use it when I make CAD drawings.

Looks like it increases the size of the text quite well. Hope it helps.

Sorry - the font changes with the Icon size. All I can suggest is
move closer to the screen :)

Thank you. That adjusts the size of the buttons, which is helpful.
However, the font remains in tiny "leagleze" size underneath the
buttons. How about making the text underneath the fonts larger?

Dawn,

This was a Legacy question...

Right click on the tool bar (away from the Icons) and you'll get a
wonderful surprise. At the bottom, select "Options", then "Buitton
Size" and you'll get three size options.

Warning: This may be a windows question rather than specific to Legacy.

Is there a way to adjust the icon font size? I checked customize fonts, where everything is set to no smaller than 10, but the icon font remains
too tiny to read readily.

Thank you,
Dawn
