I echo the sentiments of those who do not believe that a few easily-upset list members should dictate the tone of the list. The atmosphere that is created on this list will to some extent dictate what market segment the software attracts.
The more "thinking" folk should be made more welcome. (I have no same-sex relationships, or adoptions, in my family (oddly). I am not expressing my views on anything in a moral way - just expressing my views on the software discussion list.)
