Hi Valerie,
Ron is correct, the etiquette guidelines ask you not to send your
thank yous to the list. You can always send your thank yous off list,
as it is nice to know that you've helped a person.

If, however, you've asked a question, and people are offering
different solutions to create a work-around, many times others of us
who are reading about it are interested to know which one worked. In
that case, you can do a group thank you, and then say which method
worked best for you, and that your problem has been solved. I think
that is useful information for the list.
