Thanks Jack and everyone else.  Well I guess we are in the minority
Jack.  I've now had to tape a little note on my screen for the
years/months in question so that I can remember to adjust the date.
As for your question on the IGI - I've found some actually do enter
the double dating method.  Others I treat purely as marginal evidence
until such time as I am able [not always the case] verify via parish
records etc.
