1. The report options for HTML output are in some instances are dependant on
Web Page Creation settings.  This may be one of those instances.

2. Logically you would probably want to choose add a picture to only an
event or to only an Event source detail.  To do otherwise would be redundant
and would lead to picture duplication in a report.

Thanks for your input. I checked thru the settings you mentioned and the
result was:
1) Familty Group Record report to 'Screen/Printer' did not display the
source pictures in citations
2) Familty Group Record report to HTML did display the source pictures in
citations.

Now I'm wondering if there is any logical reason a person would want to have

a picture attached to an Event, and to the Event Source Detail/Picture, and
to the Master Source Definition/Picture for the Event.

No virus found in this outgoing message.
