Go to Start_Control Panel_Add/remove programs (this is how you should
properly uninstall virtually all software, unless there is an uninstall
shortcut in your stary menu. Almost never should you just delete folders)
Select Legacy and uninstall
Reboot
Install the new copy. However I am not sure where there is a link to
re-download version 5 if that is what you need.
Tip for the future. Burn the downloaded installation file to a CD or save it
on some other media to prevent having to download again (unless you are
updating versions)

Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] Re-installing Legacy 5
I am still using Legacy 5 and have reason to believe that it has been
corrupted. I would like to make a complete new, clean, installation. I am
not very computer savvy and would appreciate instructions in particular
about removal of the old installation before installing a new download.
Thanks,
Walt Conner
