I'm in the US and there are sometimes delays of 4 to 6 hours between the time I send a message and the time it gets back to me in the list. If you don't get a response to a message in 6 hours after sending it, don't think you're being ignored - the rest of us may not have seen it yet (4 hours for the original message to get to us, another 4 hours for an answer to get back to you).
