I, and several others, have Legacy installed on both my desktop and my laptop with my Legacy DATA file on a USB drive. I simply plug that USB drive into whichever computer I am using and I always have the current data available. Any changes I make will be available on either compute without the need to do any copying. I backup when exiting Legacy and the backup goes onto the hard drive (not the USB drive) of whichever computer I am using.
