Valerie,

My vote is to put Mrs.? Alice as her given name. With your Guild of
one-name studies, you'll probably run across this situation often and may
want to find these ladies easily.
I found her (and a few others I entered to play) easily by entering Mrs.
as the given name in the Name List. I tried Mrs.? as a Title prefix, but
then the Mrs.? didn't show up in the name list.
I tried these different options in a copy of the Legacy Sample Family file
I renamed 'Play File Family'. Interesting that in the Sample file I
imported, is a gal with given name Mrs. Esther . The Title prefix Mrs.
was not used in her entry either.
Regards, Jane Tripp

I am wondering how people treat a death/burial of eg 1850 CULLODEN Alice,
India Records, Bengal Presidency, Vol 77 f 189.

I know how to put these references in to the source list but I am wanting
suggestions about the fact that I do not know if Alice is her maiden name
or her married name ?

Regards from Valerie in sunny Sydney.
