I just ran into a problem and can't come up with an answer. I need to make a presentation by giving a demonstration using Legacy and thought the easiest way to make it clear to the viewers would be to make a step-by-step view of the index file as the changes were made to it. I first made a copy of the file and saved it under a different name, say file 1. On file 1, I then made the changes I wanted to show, closed that file down and backed it up. Now I should have the original file and file 1, the original without the changes and file 1 with the changes. I wanted to make sure that I had both files the way I wanted them before I made the next change but when I went back to the original file the changes I had made to the file called file 1 were on the original file as well.
Surely, there is the capability within Legacy to do this but I can't find a way. Any help out there?
