Hugh, Google for FastStone Screen Capture utility Version 5.3 (last freeware version) and download it. It (FastStone Screen Capture) has the ability to capture scrolling windows and an option to save the output to .pdf. I just tested it on my machine and although my database isn't as large as some (386 individuals) it was able to capture all the names with the color formatting as you desire. At 5.13mb the file is 12.96" wide x 117.31" long.
