Perhaps you should ask Ron Ferguson. He seems to think they're in the Help Files.

I believe it's humorous that some people have to respond to a question
whether or not they know anything about it. If you think that Boyd didn't
add the [Sources] [Notes] tag, are you calling me a liar? ;-)

I don't think he added the [Sources] [Notes] tag. That's the way all Legacy

events are structured. The location of the [Sources] is where the
superscripted number of the source will appear. The notes will be added to
the end of the event entry.

Not trying to be funny, but he probably added the [Sources] and
[Notes] tags at the end of each of the event sentence structures so
that the sources and notes would show in the sentence!!

Last Fall, Boyd Miller very kindly shared with me his Data and Source
Conventions for Legacy. I recently tried to contact him via the e-mail
address he supplie last Fall but did not receive a response. Therefore,.

I am wondering if anyone knows the purpose of his adding [Sources]
[Notes} at the end of all his recommended modified sentence structures
for events. Here is an example of his suggested sentence structure for
a Census:

In the [Date] census [HeShe] is shown as [Desc] [inPlace] [Sources]
[Notes]
