Has Legacy ever considered putting out a modified version that suited the UK,
Australia and NZ?

I know The Master Genealogist team did this a few years ago due to similar
problems in their program.

Location List?

  Kimberley,

Many, if not most, of us outside America only use the Geolocation List for
guidance. The four name field convention does not work conveniently in Europe
either, so we tend to ignore that as well.

I very much doubt if you are lacking in understanding of how to use it, but
simply finding that outside of America it is neither very reliable nor
particularly suitable.
