Currently, v6 cannot open v7 files as there has been a number of structural
database changes. I remember the developers making a change in v5 to read v6
db when v6 was released. I cannot be certain whether this will happen again;
too much comm. traffic to check. If it happens, consider it a bonus.

Kind Regards,

Mark

Subject: [LegacyUG] One question on v7 coming

Just so I can make my plans on things...

Do our data files go through a version change when we upgrade to v7? That
is, did the structure of the database change? (I'm pretty sure it will
have, with the expected changes.....)

To put it another way - can a person with v6 use a database that has been
created or edited with v7?

Thanks for letting me know either way!
