I see no reason why one would do that - they use different formats for the database. But - it can be done. Rename the SETUP program you download (the exe) to Legacy7.exe. When you run it - it will create a folder called Legacy 7 and will not overwrite the Legacy 6 program, etc. You will have to copy your DATA and PICTURE Folders to the Legacy7 install if you want to use them. When you open a family file - it will be converted to the 7 format and be unusable in Legacy 6 (thus my original thought). BACK-UP everything first - I believe this is correct.
