Good point.

However, I think the big problem at the moment is that items can take
several days to reach the list. So it could well be that there wasn't an
answer in the archives when the question was asked.

Many of the questions which are being asked have been asked several times
before and the answers are in the Archives. For example by putting "Search
Converter" into the Archive Search box, I found 25 references.

If luggers would search the Archives before sending an email not only would
they get an answer immediately but it would go a long way to reduce the
clutter on this list.
