Gary said "Yes, check your spam filters, both on your computer and
potentially online at your ISP. Some Internet Service Providers do some
filtering before the mail ever gets to your computer.. "
... and if your ISP is one of those "special" companies they will deny
that they are filtering your mail, all the while doing it!
I had this problem about a year and a half ago. I help administer a
list where you happen to be able to test your connection to the server
(different software to the LUG, sorry). The mail stopped arriving in my
mail box, and the tests were proving to me that there was a problem.
Several calls to my former ISP later, I finally convinced a tech to try
the test himself, and he could see for himself. Before then, the
company had not revealed that this filtering was going on - despite my
having chosen a setting whereby my mail was not to be filtered!
Needless to say, I don't use that address any more. That was only one
problem of many. :-(
If you are waiting for your Deluxe number and it isn't in your mail box
or spam folder, the only way you're likely to know if the email has been
sent to you is if you contact Millenium and ask.
Kind Regards,
Wendy Howard
