Kirsten, don't put off upgrading to v7 just because you might not be using
the source templates. The older sources work just fine - you can wait to use
the templates until things have settled down a bit if that is your choice.
In the meantime there are other improvements with v7 that are mighty nice.
Some have found the maps intriguing, but my favorite is the expanded
searching capabilities - just fabulous!

Reading about the problems people are having with converting sources has
caused me to postpone upgrading to v.7, so I have no direct experience
with
the process but . . . wouldn't it be convenient if we could copy an
existing
source to the Source Clipboard and keep that open while creating a new
source with the v.7 templates? Then text might be copied/pasted from the
Clipboard to the appropriate fields in the new template. Does anyone know
how to achieve a process something like this?
