Sharyn,

You asked about removing the cause of death from the Family view Screen. In
family view, simply right click on any individual over the words along the
left side that say Born, Baptized, Died, Buried . . . you will be presented
with a  screen that will allow you to choose which fields will show. You may
chose another fifth field including the choice to leave it blank. You may
also re-order the fields if you desire.
