What I'm concerned about is the possibility of scrambling all my MRIN data if I renumber 12345 to 1. As one responder indicated - does this renumbering mean that the two MRIN's and their data are 'exchanged', i.e - that all of 12345 and associated data (events, sources, photos, etc) is moved to MRIN 1 and that the same associated data with 1 is now found under 12345? I hate that thought since all my off-line hard copy MRIN data would need to be re-filed (a monstrous task). If this is the case, what is the benefit of re-numbering?
