If your source documents are numbered and your sources have File ID's with the same number than it's easy for a reader to figure it out. Or named similarly. I think the idea is that they have to match somehow which is already what you're saying.

Thanks for the confirmation that you feel most people have Adobe Reader now. I wasn't sure if it was just "business" people or "all" people.

My second question was meant to ask how to attach a file (,pdf file of a 3-page document that I have attached to a source, for instance) so the recipient knows which .pdf file goes with which source. I've never sent a report. Do you just include the .pdf file that's attached to the source as another file that is e-mailed with the report? How does the recipient know the name of the attachment that goes with which source? I've read the Manual on sending a report but still don't understand how to "connect" the attachment that goes with a source so the recipient knows what goes together.

Not sure this explanation is clear. Let me know if it is not..

Thank you.

Yes to both. I believe most people have Adobe Reader on their computer. Probably every single person. Why /wouldn't/ you attach a source to look at ?

I am considering attaching a multi-page .pdf file to a source. It works as long as the person viewing the file has Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Acrobat Reader on their computer. Anyone have comments about this?

Also, if I send a report to someone, can I also attach a "Sources" file so they can see the document?

Thanks.
