Syble,
The next time the error occurs (hopefully you woun't see it again)
knowing exactly the steps occur before the problem happens will allow
others to try to reproduce what you are seeing.
For example in another thread it is reported that
if one
1) If You Click on "Add or Edit Source Cititations" Icon (appears as a
book icon) in the Individual Information window
2) Click on "Add A New Source" icon
3) Click on "Cancel"
4) Click on "Cite a Master Source" icon
you will get "Run-time error 3167" Record is deleted and the application
will disappear.
I can reproduce the above 4 steps and it always results in the same
message and aborted application.
If this is what causing your problem you'll have to wait for another
release because it's a bug.
But if you are doing something else, understanding exactly what you are
doing preceeding the event can provide information to tohers to help to
point you in the right direction. The sooner others can reproduce what
you are seeing, the sooner it possibly get fixed. Knowing the
preceeding steps is very very helpful.

It happens after I've been working with Legacy for a while. I've been
adding sources to events trying to get my files more in order, so that's
what I've been doing each time it has happened.

This happens when you first start Legacy?
If not when does it occur, what are the 2 previous things you do right
before it happens?

I'm using Legacy v7, and I'm getting a Run-time error 3167 and then it just
shuts down. I've used v.5 & v.6 and never had problems, I checked and I
have the latest update, any ideas on what is going on.
