I have a note book with Vista for 9 months and a desktop with Vista for 3 months. Legacy 7 works very well in my desktop. I haven't installed Legacy 7 on my notebook yet. I use both IE 7 and Firefox with my Vista and Legacy 7. I wouldn't go back for anything. I am on the computer 4-5 hrs per day working in Legacy and no problems except when I misstep as an operator. The mapping, the digital pictures, the digital documents, the add in of Word documents, all work well.
For installation, I recommend you follow exactly like the developers had posted to our LUG group. I downloaded the files; upgraded to Deluxe; did not try to outsmart the default instructions. I did not try to save Legacy vs 6. Not only did it work, but I converted my old (minor) family data basis of about (6) files; moved my backups for 1 1/2 years to the backup file and no problems.
