Fixed it. Thanks.  When I tried to edit the sentence before I used parentheses 
instead of brackets around HisHer.  Works fine now.  Thanks everyone.

In Report Options open the tab for Wording 1 and check what is written 
for Individual Events.

I have edited mine to read "Noted events in [Firstname]'s life
were:" 
but if you want "his" and "her" your sentence should read
"Noted events 
in [HisHer] life were:"

If your sentence is correct as above I can only presume you have some 
people with the wrong sex selected as I cannot reproduce your error.
