I have raised this issue once before, asking others on the list to reply off-topic to my questions about being able to use Legacy, if I switch back to a Mac.
I have made the switch and have ended up using a desktop iMac along with a little MacBook Air. For others who are interested in using Legacy on a Mac, I will be happy to share my experience, pros and cons, etc. Upshot, I¹m quite happy. I do think that there are possibly some even better ways of making it work, such as WINE, which I believe Allan(?) mentioned, but it requires more technical expertise. I am here to tell you that the easy way that I have set it up works quite well, with a couple of provisos and a couple of Oh, wows! Prior to the move to Mac, I had a hard time getting nitty gritty input on the viability of the process; if there is any one else contemplating the same move, I¹ll be glad to give you my low-down on it. Since we are probably a small group, I won¹t waste band-width on the list, out of consideration for others. (I suspect that there may be no others.)
