I'm just beginning to struggle with Norwegian names from original records online and could use some advice from those with more experience in this area. I'm finding that records often use farm names as a second surname i.e. Laura Martine Torkildsen Falk, with Falk being the farm name. How do you enter this in Legacy? Do you enter both the patronymic and the farm name in the surname field with a space between, or do you enter one version as an alternate name? Input would be appreciated.
