Debbie, It's very easy to miss :-). In the Detailed Source tab "Look for whom" click the down arrow and select "Marriage" then continue as usual.

But I can't seem to find a way to search on a marriage date or place. It has birth, baptism, death and burial dates and places. It also has any date, but that would give me too many hits when searching. Am I missing something?
