Yes, but Legacy sets one child in every family to preferred, even if you
don't want a preferred child. And since my current research is the
descendants of a 2nd great grand aunt, I don't really care about any
preferred children.

I use preferred child as my way of knowing which is connected or is an
ancestor, I follow in-laws etc and frequently have to go HUUNHH so I
set as preferred child the one who really connects.

I am running Legacy 7.0 deLuxe on Vista, which I keep updated.
On occasions, I select an individual, then VIEW/SIBLINGS, select a
different sibling, SELECT, but nothing changes.
And similarly, SET TO PREFERRED CHILD doesn't work when using
VIEW/CHILDREN
This appears to be a bug: has anyone else experienced this?
