It is not uncommon to find significant changes between major versions such
as 6 to 7. But I still wonder why is it being considered a problem. All
programs have a learning curve anyway. If an update makes a small change,
either to fix a bug, add a feature and so on, that just means a bit of
adaptation on the user's part. While I agree that not all changes turn out
to be good, I think we can both also agree that if there were never ANY
changes, the program could not improve.

Yep! The screens are different. I found the same problem when upgrading
from v6 to v7 from the disks. Later updates are better. (And I didn't
change computers nor monitors in the meantime.)

What screens, how different????. Updates may make some subtle changes
compared to the originally installed version, and artwork on boxes or
disks does not always reflect the actual program. Things can also look
different depending on monitor shape, resolution and the Windows themes
one is using. Unless you are having a problem I wouldn't worry about it.

It appears to me that my Legacy 7 Deluxe discs may be slightly
different
than my Legacy 7.0.0.86. Is this right? Screens appear different.
