Hello, I have Legacy 7 installed on my Vista Home Edition (32bit not 64bit) and it works perfectly. I also use a flash drive. All of my data is on the flash drive including my multimedia files. I have Legacy installed on my laptop with Vista and on my desktop which has XP. I can work on either one just by moving the jump drive and I always have an up to date database. I never backup to the flash drive only to the C drive of each computer and ocassionally e-mail myself a copy of my database. I have used this method since ver 6 and I have used Legacy since version 2. The flash drive is the easiest way to keep your current files with you and use them on any computer with Legacy 7 installed. Barb

It also seems that it is not related to the repository for the back-up and furthermore the recommendations in the Help File for Error 91 either do not apply or do not work with Vista. BTW the reference to IGI is not related to your problem as it only applies if the error arose when using the IGI from within Legacy. I note Ken's response to this problem and can see his difficulty as it does not affect all Vista users. It would be interesting to know if it affects all versions of Vista - I have Home Basic and can look at that, we know Ann has Vista Premium which does it affect? I appreciate that this is not a suggested resolution but maybe re3sponses will help Ken to reproduce the problem.
