I backup my Legacy files regularly and use that method and the Restore
function to restore those backups and as a way to move my files from
one computer to the other. I understand the Data backup but wonder
about the Multimedia backup.....what exactly is being backed up in
that multimedia backup because all my media is stored externally to my
Windows hard drive and I "think" I am just linking to it from Legacy?
Specifically, I'm a Mac user so my documents and images are on my Mac
side while Legacy, of course, is on my WinXP side. When I link an
event or person to an image on my Mac side, I thought I was just
adding a link to the file and not the document itself.......but my
multimedia backup keeps growing. So, when I backup and restore the
Data file, what happens to that multimedia backup?
