If you go to the second individual from the end of line ancester you will then have the end of line ancester in the parents position. Now if you double click on the actual end of line ancester you will have 'unknown' in both the father and mother position. It just takes one extra click. I then go to the father and put XXX in the given name. Then I can delete the unknows ancester. This takes away both the unknown father and the unknown mother. I hope this helps. It is easy to do. I don't remember the details because I haven't imported anything in a while. -- Dennis Kowallek - LTools http://zippersoftware.com/ltools/index.htm Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyfamilytree.com/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp To unsubscribe: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/LegacyLists.asp **************A Good Credit Score is 700 or Above.
