Subject: Merging two files
Hi, I wonder if somebody can assist me with my minor problem. I have two reasonably large data files (in excess of 17,000 individuals). My latest file that I am presently working on has about 400 persons less than an earlier file that is on a cd. (I had a computer crash, ending up losing some data entries) What I would like to do is compare the two files so that I can find the missing 400 entries. I know how to merge and use the split screen methods but would like to know what tool I can use to produce these entries. I don't want to use the earlier version as I have added heaps of info into the latest version.
