The other possibility - if you don't have two sets of parents - is that you
have entered your parents, but not linked them to yourself.  In this case,
click on the empty box in your father's spot (above your name) and then
choose Link to existing person - locate your father in the list that pops up
and repeat the process for your mother.

Check to see at your own family view (where your name is showing) if 
you show two sets of parents for yourself.  If so, click on the icon 
which shows two people with white hair, and see the two sets of 
parents.  If you do show two sets, one set is probably blank which 
you can delete.
