Wendy, Since sending that URL I had a look at the site for the first time since I downloaded VE (when v7 first came out) and all seems to have changed! I downloaded VE 3D from http://www.toggle.com/lv/group/view/kl39615/Microsoft_Virtual_Earth_3D.htm and this is giving the best results I have ever had.
