Tagging the deceased and then exporting that tab# seems to work OK, but I'm
still checking.

I have tried exporting my Legacy file to a new file but do NOT want to
include any living individuals.
On the Options tab of the Legacy Export screen I have selected "All
records
in the entire family file".
Then on the Privacy tab I have ticked "Exclude living people totally (as
if
they do not exist)"
Evidently I'm not understanding this as my new family file includes EVERY
individual - living and dead of the original file.
Information in the Help file states:
"Records to Export
All Records in the Entire Family File Select this option if you want to
include every individual and family in the new Family File. Selecting this
option causes all subsequent options to be ignored."
Evidently **all subsequent options to be ignored** includes those on the
Privacy tab as well as the options on the Options tab.
So, unless I'm doing something wrong, I probably need to tag all deceased
individuals and then use the
Records to Export: "All records with an individual tag of ___"
I'm using Version 7.0.0.90 deluxe.
