What it actually does is 1. find all 'Direct Line Ancestor with No Parent', 2. sort the group in one of three lists (RIN, first, surname), 3. show the first of that group. My guess is you are looking for the list sorted by dates, or the one in 'pedigree?' order. Rich in LA CA
