Are you doing a "Descendant Report" or a "Descendant Book"? I recreated the problem doing a "Descendant Book", but was unable to recreate the problem when doing a "Descendant Report". If it's a "Book" you're doing, then you must select "Include Main Entries for: All Individuals", then run the report and you should have your pictures in place.

Well I have sussed out the answer in my case. I just tried a Descendent Book (it was the Descendent Chart I'd used before) and realised that I had the option checked to Suppress Details for Living People, but not to show their names as "Living."

Because I hadn't had the chance to study things properly this afternoon, I had not noticed that it was the living people whose photos were not showing, BUT a couple of the very-much-alive children did have their photos and the word "died" appeared, but no date, of course. On checking their Individual Information screens, I see that for some strange reason the Living - No radio button is checked.

Corrected that and unchecked the Privacy options to suppress details of living people and everything is fine. Phew!
