Follow-up- Just to update the list, I was able to accomplish my task with the use of a third party software. It was an investment of $10 that allowed me to create a tombstone event for each person buried in a particular cemetery. I had to go thru a few simple steps each time for each of the 18 cemeteries, but in a matter of hours, I was able to have created a tombstone event for 17, 591 persons!
Thanks to all who offered their ideas on solutions. However, it is inoperable if you are using the *Free* Legacy version. One of the several reasons I happily switched to the Deluxe paid version a couple weeks ago! The Event Clipboard is a great tool. It even copies the Source Citation with one click. That's how I would proceed.
