Hi Mike, Thank you so much for this information. Just experimented a bit. I was able to get all the obits in by editing the GEDCOM file and matching _OBIT_ to NOTE. All I need is for the information to be there, somewhere. Thanks again.

Legacy won't recognise it. As you say, it doesn't even show up in the >'Unrecognised items' list when importing.
