Thanks Heather, That is exactly what I was trying to say. I don't know if they share a father or not so I think I will leave it the way it is, now that I know I didn't mess anything up.
When you say existing problem, you mean Legacy already knows and this is on the "fix it" list? (Well, I'm assuming they were different - she had ill. kids before she married, and ill. kids after her husband died.) However, if you are pretty certain that the kids were likely from the same unknown person, you want to change it to only one "marriage" (or relationship) with an unknown. So, unlike all but one of the kids from the parents, go to the "marriage" of the person and the unknown, and add the kids back in (add existing child). Then, look at the list of the person's spouses, and get rid of the extra marriages that are not needed. I discovered I had listed two children to my uncle that in fact were his wife's from a prior marriage/relationship. I unlinked the children and then, starting with the child I added just the mother by "linking to and existing person". This appears to have accomplished the same thing. But, now when I look at the three different relationships, when looking at the two unknown spouces only one of these two children show up with the other children. I have "show half brothers or sisters" checked so as long as I have the mother on the family page all of her children should show.........right? By not creating the unknown spouces first did I mess things up?
