I'm sorry. You make the pivot person, be the person on the main screen (male or
female).
Then open the Focue group, using one or more of the phrases. If you want you
can build a clump of relatives to tha one person, or after done with that part,
change the pivot person to anyone else, and, create what ever grouping you
want. You had listed very specific 'subgroups' so enjoy.

Then what?

I want to generate a gedcom that is a subset of the Complete Database.

It should include all ancestors for a certain individual.
And for all those ancestors every descendant.

a) find all ancestors with no parents in DB. of individual X
b) Then from all those end branches, generate all their descendants.

I need to create a Gedcom

1) for a certain individual in the Database PersonX

2) find the direct-line ancestors of PersonX
<---  Like Search Query
Direct-Line Ancestors with no Parents

3) Now find all the descendants of those found in step #2

4) then create the gedcom

I'd like to create a query so I can do this easily, without
having to
manually do each individual found in step #2 one by one.

IE. I want all descendants, of the ancestors for a
particular individual.
