You can keep your photos in any folder, sub-folder on your computer's C drive or any other internal hard drive as long as Legacy knows the pathway to locate them.
You can also save them on a disk, external hard drive or USB, the only drawback with this method might be that the device would have to be plugged into the computed for Legacy to locate the pictures. I like to keep my Legacy attached photo's in a separate folder from my personal photos that are not attached to Legacy. I used to have my pictures in different folders but decided that since Legacy already has a folder called Photos, (and I had nothing in it),that I would copy all my Legacy Photos there. I'm not saying that everyone should use this folder.
