Mike,

For the explanation of what the symbols mean see the Help Files and
search for symbols. In your case §  means that the child is married and
has no children. It doesn't matter whether this is true or not, the
fact is you records say it's true. This can happen when a marriage is
incorrectly entered and then corrected, but the erroneous marriage has
not been deleted.

I would check View>Marriage List and see if the marriage is there, it
would probably show the kid married to "unknown", delete the marriage.
